Golden State Diabetic Supply

How Do You Get Paid for Diabetic Supplies?

We buy sealed diabetic supplies for cash. We do not sell supplies.

Updated October 26, 2026

You get paid one of two ways. At local pickup in San Bernardino or Riverside County, we pay on the spot by cash, Zelle, Venmo or PayPal. For mail-in, we pay by Zelle within 48 hours of delivery if the items match the description.

This page is general information, not medical or legal advice. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your own care.

We never charge you a fee. Here's exactly how each option works, and how to stay safe along the way.

Three steps: check your boxes, send photos for a quote, then meet locally or mail in and get paid

How does local pickup payment work?

If you live in San Bernardino or Riverside County, we meet you at a public place on a day that works for you. We look over the boxes with you. Then we pay you right there.

You choose the payment method:

  • Cash
  • Zelle
  • Venmo
  • PayPal

If something doesn't match what you described, we'll talk about it before we pay. Nothing changes hands until you agree. You're never stuck with a deal you didn't say yes to. See our local pickup areas to check if your city is covered.

Pick a busy public spot with good light, like a store parking lot. Daytime works best for most people. Bring the boxes in a bag so they stay clean and dry on the way.

How does mail-in payment work?

Mail-in works anywhere in the U.S., including Los Angeles and Orange County. Here are the steps:

  1. Get a written quote. We email a quote that lists each item and the total.
  2. Accept it. After you say yes, we email you our shipping address.
  3. Ship the box. You pay for shipping.
  4. We check the items. We let you know when the package arrives.
  5. Payment. We pay by Zelle within 48 hours of delivery if the items match the description.

Our mail-in page covers packing tips. Use a service with tracking so you can see when your box arrives.

What if the items don't match?

For mail-in, if the products aren't what you described, we won't pay for them, and they won't be sent back. That's why clear photos and an honest description matter so much.

Here's how to avoid any surprise:

  • Send a photo of every box, with the label in focus.
  • Give the exact count.
  • Name the exact version, like G7 15 Day or Libre 3 Plus.
  • Pack only what's on your quote.

Take your photos in daylight, and tap the screen so the label is sharp. A blurry date is the most common reason we have to ask for a new photo.

If you're not sure about a box, ask before you ship. It's much easier to sort out over text than after the box arrives.

Why do we use Zelle for mail-in?

Zelle sends money from bank to bank. It's offered inside many U.S. banking apps, so you may already have it. If you haven't used it, your bank can help you set it up.

Payment goes to the phone number or email tied to your Zelle account. Double-check that you've given us the right one, so the money lands where you expect.

Zelle's own safety page says to only send money to people you trust. That's good advice for anyone. When you sell to us, you only receive money. You never send any.

How do you stay safe with payments?

A few simple rules keep you safe:

  1. Only accept money. Never send money to a buyer.
  2. Don't share passwords or one-time codes with anyone.
  3. Watch for "overpayment" tricks. The CFPB warns that if a buyer pays too much and asks for the difference back, it's likely a scam.
  4. Check your own banking app to confirm a payment arrived. Don't rely on a screenshot or an email.

If someone tries to scam you, you can report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Our guide on avoiding scams has more tips.

A real-life example

Say you live in Ohio and have six sealed boxes of G7 sensors. You send photos and get a written quote by email. You accept it, and we email our address.

You ship the box with tracking on a Monday. It arrives Wednesday. We check the boxes, and they match your photos.

By Friday, the payment shows up in your Zelle account. You check your banking app to confirm it's there. That's the whole process.

Now say one box was a G7 10-day, not the 15 Day you listed. That's why we ask for label photos first. When the photos are clear, the quote is right from the start, and there's nothing to sort out later.

How fast do you get paid?

It depends on you. Many sellers send photos and get a quote the same week. The faster you send clear photos, the faster the quote comes back. For pickup, we set a day that fits your schedule.

For mail-in, timing depends on the shipping service you pick. Once your box arrives and the items match, payment goes out within 48 hours.

Payment is the same no matter how big or small your lot is. One box or fifty, the steps don't change.

Want a record? Ask, and we'll send a simple written note of what we bought and what we paid. You can also call (909) 619-5262 to confirm an offer really came from us.
