How to Sell Unused Dexcom G7 Sensors

We buy sealed diabetic supplies for cash. We do not sell supplies.

Updated October 26, 2026

To sell unused Dexcom G7 sensors, make sure each box is sealed and unexpired, check whether it's the 10-day or 15 Day version, and send photos for a quote. We buy both kinds. You can sell to us by local pickup or by mail, with no fees.

Selling? See how we buy Dexcom G7.

This page is general information, not medical or legal advice. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your own care.

Here's how to tell what you have, what makes a box sellable and how the sale works.

Which G7 sensors can you sell?

We buy these when they're sealed and unexpired:

  • Dexcom G7 (10-day)
  • Dexcom G7 15 Day

We also buy sealed Dexcom Stelo sensors. We don't buy expired sensors, opened boxes, or boxes marked "NOT FOR RESALE." We also don't buy sensors paid for by Medicare or Medi-Cal. See our Dexcom G7 page for details.

Dexcom says the G7 is an all-in-one sensor and transmitter. So unlike the G6, there's no separate transmitter to sell.

10-day vs 15 Day

Look at the name on the box. Dexcom sells the longer-wear product under the name Dexcom G7 15 Day, so look for "15 Day" in the name.

If a pharmacy sticker covers the name, don't peel it. Send a photo anyway, and we'll help you confirm which version it is.

The two are made for different people. The 10-day Dexcom G7 is cleared for people 2 and older. The G7 15 Day is for adults 18 and older.

Our guide on G7 15 Day vs 10-day shows more ways to tell them apart.

What makes a G7 box sellable?

We look at a few things:

  • The seal is whole. No tears, cuts or tape.
  • The date next to the hourglass symbol is still ahead.
  • The box isn't crushed, wet or faded.
  • Nothing is marked "NOT FOR RESALE."
  • Medicare or Medi-Cal didn't pay for it.

More time before the date usually means a better offer. So sell soon after you know you won't use them. A box with a year left is worth more than one with a month left.

Write down the date on each box as you check it. Then you'll have a quick list to send with your photos, and nothing gets missed.

Leave the pharmacy stickers on. You can black out your name with a marker. We remove and shred the stickers ourselves.

How should you store G7 sensors?

Dexcom says to keep sensors in their sterile packaging and store them between 36°F and 86°F. That means a closet inside your home works well.

Don't keep boxes in a garage, a hot car or a sunny window. If your home gets warm in summer, pick the coolest closet you have.

Checking the seal and date on a Dexcom G7 sensor box before selling

How to sell Dexcom G7 sensors

The steps are short:

  1. Check each box for a whole seal and a future date.
  2. Send photos of the front of each box and the label with the date. Use our quote form, text (909) 619-5262 or email sell@goldenstatediabeticsupply.com.
  3. Get a written quote. There's no fee and no pressure to accept.
  4. In San Bernardino or Riverside County, we meet at a public place and pay by cash, Zelle, Venmo or PayPal.
  5. Everywhere else, you mail the boxes after accepting the quote. You pay shipping, and we email our address.

For mail-in, we pay by Zelle within 48 hours of delivery if the items match the description. Items that don't match aren't paid for and aren't sent back. See our mail-in steps for packing tips.

There's no minimum. One box is fine, and so is a closet full. If you have other supplies too, like strips or pen needles, send them all in one request. One quote can cover everything.

A real-life example

Say your doctor switched you from the 10-day G7 to the G7 15 Day. You have four sealed boxes of the 10-day sensors with ten months left.

The 15 Day is what you'll use from now on, so the 10-day boxes are extras. You check each seal and date. All four look good.

You live in Upland, so you pick local pickup. You text photos, get a written quote and meet at a busy shopping center on a weekday evening. We check the boxes together, and you're paid by Zelle on the spot. You confirm the payment in your app before you hand them over.

Then you call your pharmacy to stop the 10-day refills, so no more extras show up. Your closet is clear, and the sensors go to someone who can use them.

What if you switched CGMs?

The same steps apply. If you moved from G7 to a FreeStyle Libre or another system, every sealed, unexpired G7 box can be sold.

If you still use G7 but have more than you need, think about keeping a small backup. Dexcom says about 26% of G7 15 Day sensors may not last the full 15 days, so a spare can help. Sell the rest before the dates get close.

Never sell a sensor you've worn or one whose applicator has been used. Only sealed boxes can be sold. If you're unsure about a box, send a photo and ask before you ship.

Questions

Do you buy Dexcom G7 15 Day sensors?

Yes. We buy both the 10-day Dexcom G7 and the G7 15 Day when they're sealed and unexpired.

Can I sell a G7 transmitter?

The G7 doesn't have a separate transmitter. Dexcom says it's an all-in-one sensor and transmitter, so you sell the sensor box.

How do I tell 10-day from 15 Day?

Look for "15 Day" in the name on the box. The 10-day box just says Dexcom G7.

How do you pay for G7 sensors?
